100-year-old man killed in SeaTac

A 100-year-old man was killed in his home last Friday.

Robert O. Benson, a longtime resident of SeaTac,  was supposed to meet for coffee at McDonald's with some friends last Friday. When he didn't show up, one of his friends went to Benson's house.

Benson was found dead in his home. Deputies said they couldn’t determine his time of death.

Police are working to find his wallet, which was missing from the crime scene. It's described as brown, leather, and scuffed. It contained Benson's driver's license; credit cards from Chase, Key Bank, and Discover; and other miscellaneous items.

Anyone with information on the wallet or Benson’s death is asked to call the King County Sheriff’s Office at (206) 296-3311.
