LAKE CUSHMAN, Wash. - Nathan Hernandez, 10, who was lost while camping with his family in a remote area near Lake Cushman, has been found by searchers.
He had been picking blueberries with his sister, but did not return.
He had been missing since about noon Thursday.
Search and rescue teams from Mason, Thurston and Pierce counties searched through the night for the boy.
Shortly before 7 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office said they may have found a possible footprint.
Four additional dog teams and 30 more volunteers relieved the night team.
Shortly after 10 a.m., the King County Sheriff's Office Air Support Unit said it had located the boy and helped guide searchers to his location.
He is fine.
