1 injured after vehicle crashes into tree

One person was injured early Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree near Gig Harbor, said officials with Key Peninsula Fire District.

GIG HARBOR, Wash. - One person was injured early Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into a tree near Gig Harbor, said officials with Key Peninsula Fire District.
 
Crews responded to a report of a serious vehicle crash at 3:45 a.m. on Kooley and Cramer roads.
 
Fire officials said the driver was traveling at high speeds, lost control and crashed into a tree.
 
The driver was taken to a trauma hospital.
 
Investigators said the vehicle appears to be a stolen car.
 
Authorities will continue to investigate the incident.
