1 child hurt after school bus goes into ditch in Sammamish


One student had a wrist injury after a school bus went of the road in Sammamish.

SAMMAMISH, Wash. - One child had minor injuries after a school bus went off the road and into a ditch Monday morning.

The bus had 17 children on board when it went off Southeast 24th at 200th at 6:45 a.m.

Sammamish police said one child had a minor wrist injury.

The children were transferred to another bus and continued on their way to school.

Another school bus was involved in a crash Monday morning with two cars on southbound Interstate 405 approaching Coal Creek about 8:20 a.m.

The incident was minor and no children appeared to be on the bus.
