SEATTLE - A man who was shot at a downtown Seattle apartment building after an apparent argument with another man has died.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was shot once in the abdomen at the building at Third Avenue and Union street Thursday morning.
Seattle fire said the man was unconscious and unresponsive when medics arrived and CPR was in progress as he was being transported to Harborview Medical Center.
Seattle police said the man later died from his injuries.
Police said a neighbor told officers he heard two male tenants in the hallway arguing prior to the shooting.
The suspect, a man in his 30s, was immediately taken into custody at the scene.
Officers are continuing to investigate.
