Off-duty firefighter injured in motorcycle crash in Capitol Hill

SEATTLE - An off-duty Seattle firefighter was injured early Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash in Capitol Hill.

The collision happened at about 5:30 a.m.

According to officials with the Seattle Fire Department, the firefighter was on his motorcycle traveling southbound and a car was driving northbound when the two vehicles struck each other.

The motorcyclist had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital to be treated.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
