Just how much do people love their pets?
For some, not as much as their smartphones, a new survey says.
SMS marketing firm SimpleTexting surveyed 1,000 smartphone owners across the US to find what Americans would sacrifice to keep their smartphones.
It shows 40% of those polled would rather give up their dog for a month than give up their phone for a month.
Other results of the survey include:
- 44% of millennial respondents said they would rather be separated from their significant other than their smartphone for a month
- 72% would rather give up alcohol than their smartphone for a month
- 64% would rather give up coffee than their smartphone for a month
