Wayward dog rescued from top of Mount Si

NORTH BEND, Wash. — Rescuers pulled a 100-pound dog from the top of 3,500-foot Mount Si after the French terrier bolted up a snow-covered slope on Sunday.

Rescuers got to the dog Monday morning, securing the animal with a harness.

They then lowered her down the mountain with ropes.

The dog is back at home with her owner and doing just fine.
