Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Snohomish County - Saturday, October 14. Join KIRO 7's Jesse Jones at the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Walk in Everett at Willis Tucker Park. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a non-competitive 5k walk that raises awareness about breast cancer and vital funds for research and patient services throughout Snohomish County. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in South Sound – Saturday, October 14. KIRO 7 is proud to support Making Strides Walks across Western Washington. This walk will take place in Tacoma at Theater Square on 9th and Broadway. From the opening ceremony to the post-walk entertainment, a Making Strides event is a celebration of survivors and opportunity to remember loved ones lost. American Cancer Society Seattle Hope Gala: A Toast To Life – Saturday, October 14, 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Join KIRO 7 for an evening of dancing, entertainment, live and silent auctions, as we raise money for the American Cancer Society's local programs and research. Take up the fight against cancer and create a future with more birthdays! This will take place at the Seattle Design Center, 5701 6th Ave S. Follow this link for details.

Fall Festival: Orting Pumpkin Fest – Saturday, October 15, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. At the event, you can look forward to plenty of booths with food and beverages, live entertainment for all ages and plenty of fun and games. Fruit Bog: Cranberry Harvest Festival – Saturday & Sunday, October 14-15, starting at 10 a.m. on both days. Find time to enjoy music, a jog, or a walk (10k, 5k runs or 3k walk), or even a cranberry eating contest. This event will take place in Grayland, Wash. Follow this link for details. 

Community Joy: Fauntleroy Fall Festival – Sunday, October 15. The neighborhood celebration will take place at the Fauntleroy Schoolhouse and Fauntleroy Children's Center, and the Fauntleroy Church.
