Home Projects: Northwest Remodeling Expo – Friday to Sunday, January 5-7. This event is expected to bring together home improvement experts and homeowners. Winter Run: Worst Day of the Year Run – Saturday, January 6. Registration and check-in for this event are expected to open at 9 a.m. on the day of the run. Runners will be able to select a winter hat for style, according to the run's site. There is expected to be a costume contest and some handmade soups. Green Thumb Party: Northwest Flower & Garden Festival – Wednesday to Sunday, February 7-11, doors open at 9 a.m. Attendees can expect over 300 exhibitors and some of the region's garden creators at the event. There will also be seminars that will showcase visuals for those who are looking for advice on gardening or just want to see a demonstration.
