KIRO 7 Cares Toy Drive - Join KIRO 7 and Albert Lee Appliance to help create special memories for children in our community this Holiday season. Donate a new, unwrapped toy to the KIRO 7 CARES Toy Drive, benefitting Toys for Tots, at any one of the Albert Lee Appliance locations beginning November 20th, or visit KIRO 7 on December 8, for a fun and festive celebration! Holiday Joy: Snowflake Lane's nightly parade – running until December 24, 7 p.m. From site: You can experience all your favorite characters — with falling snow, beautiful lights, delightful holiday music — and better viewing along the extended parade route. New this year, Santa joins us every night during the new parade to spread his cheer. Location: Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square from NE 4th to NE 8th Streets. Follow this link for details.

Light Show: Zoolights at the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium - It runs until January 1, 2018. Attendees can expect animal light displays and see other animals up-close at the zoo's Kids' Zone. Festive Fun: Christmas Lighting Festival in Leavenworth – Friday through Sunday, December 8-10, and 15-17. From site: On Friday evenings, the lights are all on! Live musical performances of your favorite Christmas songs fill the streets, interrupted briefly at 4:30 p.m. for the arrival of St. Nickolaus at the Front Street Gazebo, who welcomes children young and old with the story of his legacy and "gold" for the good boys and girls! Please note: There is no Lighting Ceremony on Friday's! On Saturdays and Sundays, the festivities kick into full gear at 12:00 p.m. with the Arrival of Santa and costumed holiday characters in a march from the Festhalle to the Gazebo! Holiday Sounds: Sassy Brassy Holiday from the Seattle Men's Chorus – Saturday & Sunday, December 9 &10. Attendees can expect to hear carols and even some classics. From site: Featuring a soaring arrangement of "Joy to the World," the cheeky and cheerful "Super Gay Christmas," plus a down and dirty Dixieland styling of "Let It Snow." Saturday's performances will be at the Rialto Theater in Tacoma, 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday's performance will be at Benaroya Hall in Seattle. Follow this link for details.

Family Fun: Dickens Festival at Stadium – Saturday, December 9, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. People who attend this event can check out a Victorian dog costume contest, comedy, some classical instruments and much more. On The Run: 2017 Jingle Bell Run – Sunday, December 10. The holiday-themed 5K race is to help raise funds and bring awareness to arthritis.
