7 things to do this weekend: Dec. 14 - 16

1) Holiday cheer: Issaquah Reindeer Festival – Running until Dec. 23. Attendees will have a chance to meet Santa Claus, as well as take a photo with him. 2) Glorious music: "Handel's Messiah" – Friday to Sunday, Dec. 14-16. A strong cast of creative folks will be performing at this event. 3) Holiday joy: Wild Waves Holiday with Lights – Running until Dec. 30. Those who enter the park will be able to see a million lights and enjoy more than 25 amusing rides. 4) Fun tradition: "A Christmas Carol" – Running until Dec. 28. This present-day stage performance adapts the original Charles Dickens story of three ghostly visitors who take Ebenezer Scrooge on a trip to Christmases past, present and future. 5) Downtown celebration: Snowflake Lane - Running until Dec. 24, 7 p.m. nightly. This street party is all about bringing the holiday to life. Attendees will enjoy dance and song while being enchanted with the feel of a winter wonderland in downtown Bellevue. There will be live performers, colorful lights and adorned characters. 6) Food blitz: Winter Feast Holiday Bazaar – Sunday, Dec. 16, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is expected to feature food trucks and plenty of shopping on the streets of Fremont. Have brunch or purchase a holiday gift for someone you care about. Follow this link for details.
